Amrita’s work and miraculous healing story have been featured in the New York Times, CBS News and most recently in Southwest Airlines In-flight Magazine called “Spirit.” Amrita is preparing for a presentation at the United Nations in New York at the end of April with two other sound healers the Middle East and Europe.

Amrita has devoted much of her work to creating networks and collaborations with sound healers from around the world. She was one of the producers of the International Sound Symposium held in San Jose, California in 2002. This conference brought together over 400 people from 26 states and 8 countries.  She is currently finishing The Encyclopedia of Sound and Dictionary of Sound, which are due to be published later this year by Sanai Publishing.

Amrita will speak about the importance of collaborations and partnerships in moving the field of sound healing into the future. The paradigm shift that humanity is experiencing currently is about evolution from rivalry and competition to collaboration and mutual success.  For those of us in the West, we have been so affected by the western business model, that it takes time to unlearn our belief systems.  The organizations who are bringing sound healers together have served as a positive role model, not only to us, but to the world-at-large. 

During the teleconference we will discuss ways in which we can work together as individual sound practitioners and organizations to move the field of sound healing forward.  We invite you to have a voice in this stimulating conversation.
