Judi Sion, with Tom Kenyon The Chants of the Tibetan Nuns The Sound Healing Foundation The Hathors Sacred Sound Temples Sunday, August 12, 8:00 PM EST 5:00 PM PST Judi Sion, will be joined by her partner, Tom Kenyon, to speak about their experiences with, and the mission of the Sound Healing Foundation, a non-profit organization they founded and direct, to create and maintain Sacred Sound Temples in the world, and to preserve the Sacred Music of indigenous peoples of the world. Their current focus is on the chants of Tibetan nuns. Judi weaves moving stories of the nuns, touching us with the magical intentions behind this sacred work. They have created extensive recordings of the nuns, the only known in the world, from within Tibet, and are offering them for sale, with proceeds going directly to the nuns in Tibet. Judi will share about their experiences with the nuns and their travel to Tibet. Tom will speak about the Hathors, his work with Sound Healing, and their call for special Sound Temples. with Tom Kenyon, and co-facilitates all Magdalen workshops and
tours with Tom. Drawing from her diverse background, Judi is
known internationally as a dynamic and passionate teacher. Her career is an expression of her many diverse interests. She has worked in radio, television, advertising, political consulting and wrote a newspaper column for many years—having received national awards in many of these areas. A descendent of Patrick Henry, an early American founding father, famous for his statement—Give me liberty or give me death—this passion for freedom flows through her veins like an anthem. A fierce protector of individual rights, her path took her on a spiritual journey that led her to a direct encounter with a modern mystery school and then into years of intimate work with shamans and healers in the Native American tradition, including the Hopi. These rich story-telling traditions are a deep part of Judi’s work as she weaves ancient and modern knowledge together. Her story-telling transforms listeners through the sheer power of her language. She is the author of Last Waltz of the Tyrants, Financial Freedom and UFOs and the Nature of Reality, Indelible Ink Press. Few are able to usher into the field of human consciousness, fellow way travelers, to bring them to instantaneous states of grace, ecstasy, and well being, that they might see "home," and more of their true nature. Thousands have joined in his immense Sacred Sound facilitated workshops on the potential for human development, through his channelled guidance of intelligence from the subtle realms of consciousness. He is an immense wayshower and guide, commensurating initiations and experiences into the deep psyche of the human heart, mind, and soul. Tom and Judi have joined forces to create the Sound Healing Foundation, to preserve indigenous music, and create and preserve Sacred Sound Temples, they called the Celestoriums. Tom Kenyon, M.A. holds a Masters Degree in Psychological Counseling with over twenty years of experience in private practice. In 1983, he founded Acoustic Brain Research (ABR) to scientifically document the effects of sound and music on the brain. He is the author of several books, including Brain States (New Leaf Distributing) which is still required reading in some colleges. Tom is also the co-author of The Hathor Material and the Magdalen Manuscipt, both published by ORB Communications. The focus of Tom's work is on the use of sound and music as a means to create altered states of consciousness in order to access the more creative aspects and unused potentials of the brain/mind.
